Assistant Property Manager
As the right-hand helper to a property manager, assistant property managers (also called APM) hold similarly influential jobs as the property manager by helping to support all daily management operations. Senior/ Regional/ Director of Asset Management
The name may vary among companies such as regional manager or director of asset management, but this position is in charge of delegating, leading and resolving issues for multiple property managers and their respective teams such as leasing agents and even maintenance personnel.
Vice President of Asset Management
As the second-in-charge, the vice president of asset management typically reports directly to the president and/or CEO of the company. These are executives that usually work with other executives such as controllers and CFOs, and oversee high-level strategic property decisions.
Administrative Assistant
Administrative Assistants provide administrative support to the property management team and ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the property. Administrative Assistants handle tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records and files. They may also assist with lease administration, tenant communications, and vendor coordination.
Community Manager
Community Managers oversee the management and operations of multifamily or homeowner association (HOA) communities. Community Managers are responsible for maintaining property standards, enforcing rules and regulations, and fostering positive relationships among residents. They handle tasks such as leasing, rent collection, maintenance coordination, and resident communication.
Commercial Property Manager
Commercial Property Managers oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of commercial real estate properties, such as office buildings, retail centers, and industrial complexes. Commercial Property Managers are responsible for tenant relations, lease administration, property maintenance, and financial management. They work closely with tenants, contractors, and vendors to ensure tenant satisfaction, property upkeep, and compliance with lease agreements and regulatory requirements.
Lease Analyst
Lease Analysts review and analyze lease agreements for commercial or residential properties. Lease Analysts ensure that lease terms and conditions are accurately reflected in lease documents, including rent schedules, lease renewals, and tenant obligations. They may also conduct financial analysis to assess lease performance, monitor lease expirations, and identify opportunities for lease optimization or renegotiation.
