I gave the Birch Glen Lodge a negative review a few days ago. I had a bad day the day before which kept me from my reservations. They would not refund my money so I gave them a negative review. Today the 14th I received a message from management with their apologies and a complete refund. The gentleman whose name was Eric was very concerned about my situation and very nice. I’m very happy with the outcome. Thank You.

If I could give them zero stars I would! I will NEVER stay in a property managed by Hosteeva again! I stayed in the Bluewater Resort condos once before and thought I would never get through the registration process. I could not take pictures of my driver’s license with my iPhone 15 because their website said there was no camera…SERIOUSLY? I finally had to call them and text the pictures to them. I decided to give them another chance and stayed here again. This time, same thing…It thinks my iPhone doesn’t have a camera. But, this time was WORSE. When I finally got the registration done and got to my condo, I could not get in. The batteries in the digital lock were dead. I had to wait for nearly an hour for someone to come and change the batteries. In the meantime, I called Hosteeva back and tried to cancel the reservation and get my money back. They could not do anything because they said I had booked through Expedia. WRONG. I booked through Delta. They told me to call Delta. The lady at Delta was very nice, put me on hold and came back on the line several minutes later and said that it was non-refundable and there was nothing they could do. When the maintenance guy finally showed up he changed the battery. While the door was open I tried the code myself but he did not give me the correct instructions with the code. I finally figured it out…on my own. Sorry, Hosteeva…this isn’t baseball. TWO strikes and you are OUT with me! NEVER AGAIN!!! Delta Airlines needs to rethink letting their customers book rooms through their website that are managed by Hosteeva.
